Children’s Gardens
Children’s Gardens is a new non-profit organization with a vision for educating the next generation of children about
- gardening with non-hybridized fruits and vegetables
- the importance of fresh, raw food in our diet for vitality
- quick, healthy and delicious recipes for elementary school age children created by famous chefs from food straight from the garden.
Children’s Gardens has an extensive database of plants for home gardening, both ornamental and agricultural, which provides detailed climate, soil, watering, and fertilization information not available anywhere else in a single resource.
They are producing a series of videos hosted by an 8 year old gardener trained by the professor of organic agriculture at CalPoly San Luis Obispo.
A series of videos with elementary school age ‘chefs’ cooking recipes from the books of famous New York vegetarian chef Matthew Kenney will be produced this year.
Children’s Gardens is directed by Thomas Chock, a career nursery owner and landscape designer from Hawaii.
Consumer Scientific is providing a full range of technical and promotional support for Children’s Gardens, including website development, mobile apps, and SEO services.
